Why are Dr Martens So Popular With Women After Over 50 Years?
The first pair of Dr. Martens were launched on April 1, 1960. They are still adored by all ages, sizes and classes and fit comfortably into many a wardrobe. Doc Martens can also look fantastic with long skirts, such as the peasant style pieces which were so popular last summer. During the grunge craze in the early 90s, Doc Martens were frequently seen paired with feminine, floaty dresses and skirt, it’s a look that doesn’t sound as if it should work, but you may well be surprised. The contrast between a colourful dress and chunky black DMshoes can actually look wonderful.
